This program is designed to assist participants in their understanding and acceptance of difficult life transitions. The program addresses change management, stress management, and creating a positive life focus in the midst of difficulty.

Self-Assessment Tools

In order to determine the next direction for a career, it is important for each participant to complete a thorough career assessment.  TPO uses a variety of tools to provide insight into personality preferences, job needs, motivators, and skill sets.  The program is designed to provide each individual with a complete and valuable assessment to assist in the direction and focus of the job search.

Resume Review and Development

Each participant will receive an individualized resume representing his/her job experience, knowledge, skills, and achievements in an updated and professional format, as well as a cover letter and reference page.

Successful Interviewing Skills

Participants are given the tools and resources to help them interview effectively to get the job they want.  This program covers the interviewing process, including what to expect, being prepared, answering difficult questions, and making a positive impression.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions

Each participant will be given personalized coaching to address key issues and unique concerns.  Some topics may include:  job search strategies and preparing for the job market, researching potential organizations and planning for interviews, interview role plays with feedback, and addressing individual fears and stresses.
