WHAT DOES LEAVE OF ABSENCE SUPPORT MEAN?
For a low monthly fee, a designated TPO expert will manage every aspect of an employee’s leave. What we like to call “Leaves from A to Z”. As soon as you are made aware of an upcoming leave, simply notify TPO and we will take it from there! We’ll even take over for leaves in progress.
UPON NOTIFICATION OF A REQUEST FOR LEAVE, TPO WILL:
- Contact your employee to answer any questions about the specific leave benefits and conditions.
- Send out the initial Employee Leave Packet.
- Coordinate leave status with your payroll administator.
- Provide you with updates and status reports.
- Coordinate any modified schedules/work accommodations with management.
- Follow-up with your employee during their leave for employee relations.
- Manage Cal/COBRA notification.
- Obtain all healthcare provider documentation (beginning, during and end of leave)
- Notify you of the employee’s return to work status to coordinate any modified schedules or accommodations.
